The world and market has changed massively since we launched the AES Tribe back in late March.
We are so eternally grateful for everyone who has supported us along the way and become OG AES owners, both Apes and Bears.
But, we can’t stay still, we have to keep moving forward.
The AES Tailor is nearly here, in its final round of Beta testing with some of you special people.
As you may already know, the AES Tailor will allow you to tailor your Ape or Bear with traits you own, so the more Apes and Bears you own, the more options you have to be able to create something bespoke.
We now need to grow the community, so we are going to make some changes.
We are going to close the OG Ape collection and launch a new Ape collection. A value based collection to expand the community and alongside the bears, give people access to more traits to use in the tailor platform.
The price will be reduced significantly in line with the market, to drive some competition into the mint. The wallet and buying process will be limited to make sure we get a wide spread of new owners, true owners.
These reduced price AES Tokens will sit on a new contract and won’t have access to minting from the tailor included with the purchase.
We will also be introducing a mint token, meaning anyone who joins the new AES world will be able to buy their way to mint a bespoke Ape and a Femape. These mint tokens will be 0.02ETH.
OG Ape owners will get full access to the system, they will get their OG status and their Ape will be reserved and airdropped from the new collection. They will also get 4 mint tokens to use in anyway they like. Meaning you will actually get more value on the flip side. We will also introduce a series of OG only traits to play with.
We believe as a team that a wider community, with more owners can only be good for us all. We never got into this for the money, we wanted to create something unique and fun, that people enjoy and can be proud to be part of.

OG Ape purchases will continue until the 22nd July. After that, no more OG’s will be sold and the new mint will kick in soon after.
